Have a look at my curriculum vitae. Contact me by phone at (704) 271-4797, or by e-mail. See what I've been up to.

Hi! You can call me Jeff. I am currently working toward a doctoral degree in economics at George Mason University, but I live in Richmond, VA. I received my B.S. in economics in 2008 from N.C. State. I recently received my M.A. in economics from GMU. I have a wide variety of research interests within economics, and I am willing to study just about anything once. My current interests include behavioral applications to industrial organization. I am a graduate lecturer in economics and a teaching assistant for Carlos Ramirez.

Outside of school, my hobbies include video games, computers, cooking, and spending plenty of time with my wife, Emma. I am always looking for something new to learn. In the future, you will be able to find links to my working papers, essays, and other projects.

I am proficient in LaTeX, but lately I have been using org-mode to create and publish my projects, since it utilizes MathJax to typeset web-friendly math.

I have a working knowledge of Mathematica and Stata. I am currently learning how to write my own commands in Stata, as well as learning to use Python to automate research. I think Scrapy is neat. My pie-in-the-sky goals are to find ways to utilize Ruby and R for my research, which is the perfect excuse to learn these great tools.

If it sounds like I might be a good match for a project you are working on, whether you are writing a research paper, looking for a data monkey to turn the crank, or just in need of some tutoring in economics, get in touch. I look forward to working with you.
