First, I am ashamed to admit that I actually uttered this phrase tonight. I came up with it all on my own. Ugh.
But why?
We watched Prince Caspian (again) tonight with my kids, and enjoyed Regina Spektor’s song over the credits so much we You Tube’d her for a while. Tiring of her, I switched to Over The Rhine.
Turns out they both do a cover of this song. (And so does everyone else…) I had never heard it before. And, no, it’s not by Robbie Burns…
For what it’s worth, I like both versions, but not as much as their other stuff.
Mrs. Juris overrules and says Regina’s version is better.
